Brace yourself for the worst house listing ever

When it comes to buying property, many of us search high and low to find something that ticks all our boxes, but every so often you come across some rather interesting adverts.

Well, we’ve just uncovered what could be the absolute worst house listing ever. So, we’re warning you: brace yourself.

Described as an “investor’s special”, there’s a three-bedroom property in Venice, Florida up for sale and it looks so bad, even Marie Kondo would have trouble sparking joy into this place.

The advert states the property “needs major work” – but it’s more like it needs a whole extermination team.

Scrolling through the photographs, it seems like the real estate agents didn’t even bother trying to make the property look even the slightest bit presentable.

The list of things needing done to the house include a new roof, kitchen, bathrooms, landscaping, mould removal and a whole new sewage system – just to name a few.

While the outside landscape doesn’t look very inviting, it’s probably the best bit about the house from what we can see.

In the kitchen and dining room, you get the lovely sight of dirty dishes and clutter strewn everywhere.

And the bathrooms look like they haven’t been been cleaned in years.

While the bedrooms are home to some lovely mould on the ceilings, and just general junk.

Then there’s some other rooms which have so much stuff in them, we can’t even tell what they’re for.

Any guesses, anyone?

Looking on the bright side, the house comes with a pool.

Anyone for a refreshing dip?

So, just how much can you pick this gem of a home up for? The listing states on realtor.com the estimated value is $117,600 ($165,700 AUD).

We guess you could class that as a bargain?

However, if you were thinking this might just be your dream home, then you’re too late as the property is apparently “off the market”.
