15 Times Life Served Up A Hearty Dose Of Humor To Unsuspecting People

I am a sucker for silly, funny gifts and I recently was online trying to find one for my friend who lives in another state since her birthday is coming up. It gives me joy knowing she will get a random package in the mail, not expecting anything, and find something inside to give her a chuckle. I decided to see what gag gifts Reddit people had gifted for inspiration, and they did not disappoint. Here are some good ones if you are looking or just need a comedic break from the day:

1."My dad has this problem with pooping that has resulted in many stops on the side of the road. It has become an inside joke for our family. Last year, my grandfather, who is a very serious, stern kind of guy sent my dad a toilet seat that hooks up to the hitch on his truck as a birthday present, coupled with a card that said, 'So you can sit down and shit, instead of squatting in a cornfield.' It was so unexpected and perfect."

2."My sister’s birthday is about two weeks before Christmas. On her birthday, my older brother gave her a single shoe. My sister was extremely confused as to why my brother gave her only one shoe for her birthday. Two weeks later on Christmas, my brother gave my sister her Christmas present. Her Christmas present was the second shoe that belonged in the same pair as the first shoe she got for her birthday."

3."Fake lottery tickets. It is the best gag gift while also being incredibly cruel. My dad left it on his desk to trick someone. My brother came in and said, 'Oh, a scratch ticket, why haven't you scratched this yet?' My dad said he forgot. My brother scratched it and thought he was a millionaire. It was the most hilarious and saddest reaction ever."

4."My boss gave me the book My Cat Is Better Than Your Baby."

5."One year, my sister gifted me a flying fuck. Literally, a foam 'FUCK' that was remotely controlled and flew."

6."I was once given a tin full of tea for Christmas. I opened it later and a foam 'T' popped out."

7."One of my aunts bought another one of my aunts (her sister) a book called Your Sex Life After 40 when she turned 40. It was about 250 pages, and all of them were blank."
