‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Renewed for Three More Seasons at CBS

“The Bold and the Beautiful” has been renewed for an additional three seasons at CBS, meaning the daytime soap opera will remain on the air through its 41st season.

The news comes not long after the series celebrated its 38th anniversary on March 23 with original cast members John McCook and Katherine Kelly Lang. Per CBS, the show is currently averaging close to 3.2 million viewers in multi-platform viewing after seven days of playback. Streaming of the series on Paramount+ is also up 8% year over year.

The current cast of the series includes: Krista Allen, Matthew Atkinson, Katrina Bowden, Darin Brooks, Scott Clifton, Cassandra Creech, Delon de Metz, and Don Diamont.

Per the official logline, the show “follows the entangled lives, passionate loves and high-stakes dramas of the Forrester, Logan and Spencer families, set against the backdrop of the glamorous Los Angeles fashion world and the family’s fashion house, Forrester Creations.”

“The Bold and the Beautiful” is broadcast on weekdays at 1:30 p.m. ET/12:30 PT on CBS. Full episodes are available to stream on Paramount+, CBS.com, and the CBS app. It is a Bell-Phillip Television production. Bradley Bell is the executive producer and head writer.

CBS currently has three daytime soaps in its lineup. Along with “The Bold and the Beautiful,” there is also “The Young and the Restless” and the recently launched “Beyond the Gates.” The last of those three shows debuted in February, marking the first new daytime soap to debut on an American broadcast network since 1999.
