Blake Shelton Fans 'Can't Wait' After He Announces New Project He's Been 'Dying' to Share
It's a good day for Blake Shelton fans.
The "God's Country" singer had some exciting news to share with his fans on Friday, March 28, while revealing in a social media video that he has a brand new album coming out very soon.
Taking to Instagram to personally deliver the message, Shelton, 48, revealed the title of his brand-new album: For Recreational Use Only, which will officially be released on Friday, May 9.
"Hey guys," the country crooner said in the selfie-style video posted on Friday. "Just wanna take one second and say that I'm freaking out—I'm excited because my new album, 'For Recreational Use Only' comes out May 9th."
"I've been working on this thing for four years now," Shelton continued, adding that he is "dying for people to finally get a chance to hear the music and see what I've been up to with all this time."
He further teased, "There's a lot of cool things on there, a lot of collaborations and just a ton of fun."
It didn't take long for Shelton's fans to become ecstatic over the big news, with several of his Instagram followers saying they "can't wait" to hear the new music.
"We’re freaking out so muuuch right now," one user wrote on Instagram, adding that they were "counting the days" until the album dropped.
"Hell yeah!" another fan added, while predicting that Shelton's newest album will be "great."
