Blake Lively's upcoming Australian role uncertain amid fears 'her career is over'
'It Ends With Us' star Blake Lively was originally set to appear in the TV adaption of Liane Moriarty's book 'The Husband's Secret'.
Australian author Liane Moriarty has revealed her uncertainty that Blake Lively will still be starring in the upcoming TV adaptation of her best-selling book The Husband’s Secret, telling Kyle and Jackie O that Blake was once "attached" to the project, with things now up in the air about casting.
Liane, who has sold over 20 million books worldwide, including books that have been turned into TV adaptions like Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers implied casting choices weren't in her control after it being reported Blake was first signed to the project in 2017 when CBS Films acquired the rights to The Husband's Secret.

Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O Show this week, the novelist said, “Blake Lively was attached to it, but I don’t know if she’s [now] detached."
While production has been stalled due to multiple setbacks including COVID-related shutdowns and writers' strikes, it is said to be starting up again soon.
Liane's seen huge success with the TV adaptions of her books over the years, with Hollywood heavyweights such as Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep and Melissa McCarthy all starring in the adaptions of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, with Liane also telling Kyle and Jackie O that Jennifer Aniston had previously expressed interest in an adaption of her novel What Alice Forgot.

Multiple interviews from throughout her interview have also gone viral over the last week, with fans branding the actress “rude” in the resurfaced clips. The most controversial footage was from an interview in 2016 with Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa.
