Blake Lively Sues 'It Ends with Us' Co-Star Justin Baldoni for Sexual Harassment
Blake Lively has sued her It Ends With Us costar, Justin Baldoni, for sexual harassment arccording to TMZ and People. The suit comes after months of reports and rumors of tension on set.
Per TMZ, who obtained the lawsuit, Justin allegedly caused Blake "severe emotional distress" on set of the film—which he also directed. The suit claims that an "all-hands-on-deck" meeting took place while filming (attended by Ryan Reynolds) to address Blake's claims of a hostile work environment, and that Justin was told—as TMZ put it—"no more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni's alleged previous 'pornography addiction,' no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew's genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake's weight, and no further mention of Blake's dead father."
Baldoni was also allegedly told there'd be "no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project."
The suit further claims that Justin engaged in a "social manipulation" campaign to "destroy" Blake's reputation, harmed her business, and caused her/her family "severe emotional distress."
People spoke to Justin's lawyer Bryan Freedman, who said Blake's lawsuit was filed to "fix her negative reputation" and called the allegations are "false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt." He also accused Blake of "threatening to not showing up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release."
