Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Attend ‘SNL 50’ in First Red Carpet Appearance Together Amid Legal Battle Against Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made their first big red carpet appearance together amid their legal battle against Justin Baldoni. The married couple were among the numerous celebrities who showed up at the “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” event in New York City Sunday night. While Reynolds made an appearance at the National Board of Review awards last month to present a prize to “Wicked,” Lively has mostly remained out of the spotlight amid the legal drama with her “It Ends With Us” director and co-star Baldoni.
In late December 2024, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and mounting a smear campaign against her after tension on the set of “It Ends With Us.” Bryan Freedman, who is representing Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer Studios, called Lively’s complaint “shameful” and full of “categorically false accusations.” Lively’s filing included texts and emails between Baldoni and his PR team detailing their alleged online strategy to tarnish Lively’s reputation after rumors of an on-set feud between the two began brewing.

Lively and Baldoni both filed lawsuits against each other, with Baldoni also taking aim at The New York Times for defamation over its original report about Lively’s allegations. In his lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, Baldoni also took issue with the Nicepool character in Reynolds’ “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which he claims was “a deliberate attempt to mock, harass, ridicule, intimidate, or bully” him.
There’s no word yet on whether or not Lively and Reynolds are participating in the “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” telecast or just attending as viewers. The special airs on NBC and Peacock at 8 p.m. ET. Previously announced celebrity guests include Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian, Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Woody Harrelson.
