Blake Lively Reveals She 'Loaned' Her 'Real-Life' Sparkly Boots to Her “It Ends with Us” Character

Lively dished about her wardrobe in an Instagram comment

Blake Lively and her It Ends with Us Character Lily Bloom have one thing in common: their taste in fashion.

When the new trailer for Lively's upcoming film dropped on July 19, it sent the internet into a tizzy. While most of the fans were salivating over Lively's character and Justin Baldoni's character Ryle — it does get pretty steamy, after all — a few people in Lively's Instagram comments really just wanted to know more about her wardrobe.

The actress shared the trailer on Instagram, writing in the caption, "you might just fall in love." More than one person quickly replied to her asking about the sparkly knee-high boots that open the video. When Lily walks into frame, the first thing the audience sees are the fishnet mesh pointed-toe boots by Saint Laurent.

Audrey Long, who runs a celebrity fashion Instagram mostly dedicated to Lively, commented to say she was "dying" over the boots.

Lively replied, revealing that she brought them from her own closet. "they’re my real life boots I loaned to the movie :)"

Long, who considers herself to be very knowledgable of Lively's wardrobe, wrote in an Instagram post that she "knew" those boots belonged to the actress. "The screech heard ‘round the world happened today when Blake Lively RESPONDED MY COMMENT 👑 I spotted her Saint Laurent fishnet crystal boots in the trailer for “It Ends With Us” and immediately knew those were B’s boots 😉 My suspicion was confirmed when she responded to the comment."

Lively has been actively promoting the movie — based on the Colleen Hoover book of the same name — on Instagram for the past few weeks with a heavy emphasis on her fashion.

On July 10, she shared a photo of herself with Hoover, as well as her co-stars Isabela Ferrer and Brandon Sklenar all wearing floral-themed denim at a surprise screening in Texas. While Lively's jeans were a pair of $19K Valentino denim with floral cutouts and embroidery, she shared that she and Ferrer actually made Sklenar's floral embroidered denim ahead of the event so they could all match.
