Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick are returning for more twists in A Simple Favor 2.
On Wednesday, Amazon MGM Studios confirmed that Lively, Kendrick, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack will reprise their roles in the followup. Paul Feig is back to direct as well.
The first film was based on the 2017 novel by Darcy Bell, and the sequel's screenplay is by Jessica Sharzer.
According to a synopsis, A Simple Favor 2 sees the "return of Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively) as they head to the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman."
"Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square."

Feig previously told PEOPLE ahead of the first film’s release, "Our movie is all about appearances being not what they seem and so we loved the idea of playing with the concept of 'It's not what you think.' "
Lively next stars in the Colleen Hoover adaptation It Ends with Us, in theaters June 21. Kendrick starred in and produced 2022's Alice, Darling and makes her feature directorial debut with the upcoming Woman of the Hour on Netflix.
