Blake Lively Accused of Foul On-Set Habit in Surreal Online Character Assassination
The bad smell surrounding Blake Lively’s bitter battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni intensified Monday, after a former colleague of Lively’s accused her of the heinous social infraction of consistently breaking wind without regard for others.
Lively has accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her on the set of the hit movie, which he vehemently denies.
Now, in a cautionary tale for anyone treating the little people with disrespect, a ripe allegation has been made by a former extra on the set of Gossip Girl, the hit teen drama that first propelled Lively to global stardom.
The sometime extra, Rosella Rago, has since become an influential YouTube and TikTok cooking and style star.
Rago, the host and creator of the Cooking With Nonna social media brand and series of books, said of Lively: “She would burp and fart in the middle of set—and act like we were lucky to be smelling her farts. She was very unpleasant to work with. I just don’t know how else to say it’.
The video has been viewed over 80,000 times on Rago’s own TikTok account.
In a brutal takedown of Lively that will likely generate more traction than Baldoni’s forthcoming website which he says will host evidence refuting Lively’s claims, Rago declared: “I have met Blake Lively, I worked with her on Gossip Girl, I worked on the show on and off over six seasons, and I’m going to attest that Blake Lively was horrendous. I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but she’s horrendous.”
As well as detailing how Lively was inconsiderate when it came to farting, Rago alleged Lively was high handed and rude to unimportant people.
Lively has filed a civil complaint accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us. Baldoni has denied the allegations, released video footage which he says exonerates him and promised to release more evidence supporting his claims in the coming days on a dedicated website.
The scandal has created a storm that now threatens the careers not just of Baldoni and Lively but also her husband Ryan Reynolds. A sign of just how serious the crisis is: Lively and Reynolds, 48, are expected to skip the Oscars on March 2.
Rago said of Lively: “She was a nepo baby and when she was 19 and the whole world was blowing smoke up her a--. It is really hard to keep your head when that happens.”
The Daily Beast has reached out to Lively’s team for comment.
