Rosé also encouraged fans to follow her separate Instagram account @vampirehollie “to get quick updates and cute moments from the team.”

She was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, and signed to YG Ent. after auditioning for the imprint in 2012. She trained with the label before becoming the final member of Blackpink in 2016.

As a solo artist, Rosé previously released her debut single album “R” via Interscope and YG Entertainment in March 2021. The project included a pair of songs — “On the Ground” and “Gone” — that featured contributions from Jon Bellion and Amy Allen. “On the Ground” gained traction in the United States, peaking at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Outside of music, she has been named a global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent, Puma and Tiffany & Co.

News of Rosé’s signing comes a few weeks after her fellow Blackpink bandmate Jennie announced her own solo deal with Columbia Records. Lisa, who was also in the group, revealed she had signed to RCA Records in partnership with her own label, Lloud Co., in April.
