“Hey guys, Bindi and Chandler here, and we are joined by an incredibly special lizard,” Chandler said. “This is Kermit, the Fijian crested iguana.”

The 26-year-old explained that this species of iguana are “most arboreal”, meaning they live in trees, and they have long tails for balance.

“Their hands are designed for clinging onto tree branches and they’re such cute lizards, they have the personality of puppy dogs,” he laughed. “They’re one of my favourite animals on planet Earth. It never gets old hanging out with Fijian crested iguanas.”

Bindi also pointed out that Kermit is currently shedding, which is “wonderful because you can actually see that spectacular pattern underneath that bright green colouration”.

“Thanks for joining us and thank you for getting to meet our beautiful little Fijian iguana, because we think the world of you,” she added.
