Big W shoppers racing for budget activewear starting from $15: 'Obsessed'

While people may say the worst part of going to the gym is the whole 45-90 minutes you're there, some of us know the real truth: the hardest motivation when working out is finding affordable activewear that not only looks cute, but is comfortable for all your workout needs. Whether you're hating yourself in a reformer pilates class or wheezing on the Stairmaster because TikTok convinced you it was the 'new' superior form of exercise, we've all been victim to some ill-fitting workout clothes that we bought on a budget, or we've cried over hundreds of dollars spent on tights that may last the test of time, but also insult your bank account while you're at it.

Given the whole 'cost of living crisis' we all find ourselves in, spending over $100 on a pair of workout tights is getting harder to justify, even if you do live in them 85% of the time. Thankfully, budget retail store Big W has just released a new range of activewear with the Doyoueven activewear brand, with a whole new range of bike shorts, crops, tank tops and leggings hitting aisles and not only are they cheap as — they're cute, too.

Big W's budget activewear more affordable than Lululemon

With prices ranging from just $15 to $35, you can pretty much put together a whole goddamn workout look for under $100, instead of spending $119 on one item alone (love you lululemon, but truly can't afford you xx).

Over on TikTok, people have already started raving about Big W's team-up with Doyoueven, expressing their excitement over the affordable line.

"I have the pink sets," one fan said, agreeing that they were "incredible". "Will be checking these out," another person commented. "Omg obsessed with the range!!! Best price point and some goddamn comfy! Great job," someone else said.

Content creator Ella Hayes also shared her discovery on TikTok, revealing that she used to work for the brand and could see that the quality of the items has improved.

"What a bargain," she enthused.

Fans of the brand in general are also thrilled to now be able to find Doyoueven in Big W stores across the nation. "So good that it will be accessible to more people," one person enthused on Instagram, while another said they were thrilled to not have to wait for orders anymore. "This is too freakin' good 😍😍 now I don’t have to wait for online orders to arrive," they commented.

The brand also assured fans that they will be looking to extend the size range of the current fits on offer. "We’ve slightly extended the Big W range to accomodate for XXL but we’re always looking to extend!" they responded to a fan who inquired about sizing.
