Beyonce rocked the new sideflank trend when she attended rapper P Diddy’s 50th birthday celebrations this week wearing in an extreme, thigh-baring look.
The superstar, 38, arrived at the star-studded event in a black gown complete with thigh-high split and an embellished bodice.
The mum-of-three wore long, black evening gloves, together with a sequinned clutch and a wealth of diamond jewellery.
Of course, Beyonce’s ensemble went down a storm with the her social media followers.
“All hail the Queen,” was one comment, with many others adding, “Queen”, below.
Others referenced “Sasha Fierce”, an alter-ego Beyonce created for herself in 2008.
"Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage," she said in a statement that year.
Sideflank is the racy new dress trend
If you thought the braless sideboob trend was the most revealing style to hit red carpets over the past few years sideflank is the new racy look set to take the crown.
It essentially involves seemingly non-existent - or actually non-existent - underwear.
From extreme side-slits in floor length gowns to strategically placed cut-outs, the revealing look has been seen everywhere from the red carpet to Instagram.
Kendall Jenner showed everyone how to work it with not much material covering her legs at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscars after party.
If you love Beyonce’s take on the look there are plenty of options online for under $50.
