Donald Trump Jr. was seen with Bettina Anderson on Dec. 9 after sources previously told PEOPLE he and his fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, were spending more time apart
Donald Trump Jr. has been linked to socialite Bettina Anderson amid reports that he and his fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, have been spending more time apart.
The eldest son of President-elect Donald Trump was first seen with Anderson in August 2024 before being spotted again on Dec. 9 as they held hands during a nighttime stroll around Palm Beach, Fla. Though Trump has been engaged to former Fox News anchor Guilfoyle since 2020, sources told PEOPLE in September 2024 that the two were allegedly spending less time together.

One source added that Trump is more independent than Guilfoyle and has been quietly seeing Anderson. After their December outing, a source told PEOPLE that the couple have been together for six months.
"For the most part, Kim has looked the other way because she loves the power and lifestyle," the source alleged.
So who is Bettina Anderson? Here's everything to know about the socialite spotted holding hands with Donald Trump Jr.
She is the daughter of two well-known philanthropists
Anderson was born in December 1986 to entrepreneur Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and philanthropist Inger Anderson. She grew up in Palm Beach, Fla., where she continues to reside today.
Her father became the youngest bank president in the U.S. when he started leading Worth Avenue National Bank at 26 years old. Together, he and Inger became well-known as a philanthropic couple, with Harry serving as a board member on the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and the national board of governors for the American Red Cross, per his obituary in the Palm Beach Daily News.
"My mom has always been an inspiration to me," Anderson told Fashion Week Daily in March 2022.
Harry and Inger welcomed five children in addition to Anderson: daughters Mea Stone, Bebe McCranels and Kristina McPherson, and sons Harry Loy III and Kent.
Anderson is a model and socialite
Anderson attended Columbia University, graduating in 2009 with a degree in art history, criticism and conservation, per her LinkedIn. She often posts photos of herself modeling on her Instagram, including shots of herself on the cover of Quest magazine in 2020 and a photo shoot with Hamilton Jewelers that same year.
She was also featured in a story in Palm Beach Illustrated in 2021, with the outlet describing her as a "local influencer."
She founded a charity with her brothers
Following in their parents' footsteps, Anderson founded The Paradise Fund, a nonprofit that helps local organizations with disaster relief. In October 2021, Anderson helmed an offshoot of the company with the Project Paradise Film Fund, which supports storytelling surrounding Florida's natural wildlife, with the proceeds going to conservation efforts.
"One of the greatest focuses of my life is how I can be of service to others and be a steward of the environment," Anderson told Fashion Week Daily.
As of April 2023, she is the executive director of the nonprofit, which has since been renamed Paradise.ngo.
Trump and Anderson were first linked in August 2024
Though Trump has been in a relationship with Guilfoyle since 2018, he was first spotted on a brunch date with Anderson in August 2024, per photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
A month later, sources told PEOPLE that Trump and Guilfoyle were allegedly spending some time apart, with the eldest Trump son seemingly coming and going as he pleased.
Anderson and Trump were once again spotted together on Dec. 9, when the politician joined Anderson's birthday dinner at the popular downtown Palm Beach restaurant Buccan, per the Daily Mail. They were later photographed holding hands while walking down the beach.
At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Trump "even took her on a trip to Alaska and introduced her around as his girlfriend when he was still very much with Kim."
The following day, Trump's father announced that he nominated Guilfoyle as the U.S. ambassador to Greece. Another source told PEOPLE that despite her nomination, the Trump family is allegedly happy to see Guilfoyle leave the family.
"Kim is not a nice person and always wants the limelight," the source alleged. "Don and Kim are over but they are going to offer her some kind of an administrative position so she will be happy."
A political source added that, "Bettina wants Kim out of the area,” and her nomination appears part of a plan to achieve that.
“They are trying to send Kim abroad,” the insider said. “They waited for the election to pass but they didn’t want the split to get in the way of anything to hurt Donald in the election.”
She attended the Republican National Convention
Anderson joined Trump at the Republican National Convention in July 2024, sitting directly behind Trump and Guilfoyle and next to three of his five children.
She was also photographed talking to Trump's ex-wife, Vanessa Trump.
