Fast Ed gets behind 'Live Below the Line'

From 2-6 May, thousands of participants will make their meals count by feeding themselves on $2 a day for five days. That’s the Australian equivalent of the extreme poverty line. By taking the Live Below the Line challenge, we’re raising much-needed funds for work that helps end poverty.

Live Below the Line is run by Oaktree, one of Australia’s largest youth-run organisations. Education transforms lives. That’s why we work with partners in the Asia-Pacific to fund programs that help people break out of the poverty cycle. We also raise awareness in Australia about the global injustice of poverty. Since 2010, over 40,000 Australians have taken the Live Below the Line challenge and raised over $9 million for Oaktree’s work.
