WATCH: Badass Chihuahua leads California police in not-so-high-speed chase
Not since OJ's attempted getaway in that white Bronco has California seen such an epic police chase.
San Francisco's six-lane Bay Bridge was in lockdown yesterday as Highway Patrol officers set out in hot pursuit of a tiny black Chihuahua.
In raw video footage released on Twitter by the CHP, the little tearaway can be seen running at full speed across the bridge while a motorcycle officer follows cautiously behind.

When the fugitive was finally apprehended and found to have no tags or chip, he was released into the care of San Francisco County Animal Care and Control, who are currently looking for his family.
In a nod to the 70s TV show CHiPs, the chihuahua was nicknamed 'Ponch' after the character played by Erik Estrada. The CHP says Ponch has been let off with a warning.
