Although manual and electric toothbrushes both remove plaque from teeth, research shows that the micro-movements of the bristles of an electric toothbrush are more effective at cleaning plaque and preventing decay and disease.
Electric toothbrushes can also be better for the environment; they cause less waste as you don't need to replace the whole brush every time the bristles need changing.
