New year, new snacks. It appears that's the motto of just about all of our favorite brands, which pushed out product after new product in these first two weeks of the year. From new Coca-Cola flavors to fan-requested Cheetos and first-of-their-kind Doritos, 2025 is already proving to be loaded in the snack department.

Now, our two favorite men in the freezer aisle are ready to throw their hats in the ring. Ben & Jerry's just launched a new line of ice creams that are a huge deal—quite literally.

Ben & Jerry's Introduces 4 New Scoop-apalooza Flavors

Ben & Jerry's just released its biggest innovation in years: Scoop-apalooza, a collection of four new flavors available in 28-ounce containers that are designed to be shared. The new flavors are 75% larger than Ben & Jerry's typical (16-ounce) pints, with each container packing in five servings compared to a pint's three.

The Scoop-apalooza lineup features four brand-new flavors:

  • Vanilla & Fudge Brownie: Rich vanilla ice cream swirled with decadent fudge brownies.

  • Chocolate & Fudge Swirl: Creamy chocolate ice cream with luscious fudge swirls.

  • Strawberries & Cream: Sweet cream ice cream blended with vibrant strawberry swirls.

  • Coffee & Fudge Chip: Bold coffee ice cream with oodles of fudge chips.

“This is a whole new Ben & Jerry’s for today’s fans who know that sharing is caring,” said Flavor Guru Haylee Nelson. “Scoop-apalooza is intentionally unpretentious to appeal to all of your friends and loved ones.“

As Nelson alludes to, the Scoop-apalooza flavors are meant to be a bit simpler than Ben & Jerry's typical pints, with fewer mix-ins and chunks. The reasoning? Scoop-apalooza is going for mass appeal—a selection of four options that hit all the most crowd-pleasing flavors from the brand. It not only makes them easier to share with friends and family, but also ideal for pairing with any other treats at a party or gathering.

I got the opportunity to try these flavors before they hit shelves. Here's my honest review.

My Review of Ben & Jerry's New Scoop-apalooza Flavors

Have I ever met a Ben & Jerry's flavor that I didn't like? Truthfully, no. But when these flavors were described to me as being more "pared down" in the mix-ins department, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical. Ben & Jerry's is known for its over-the-top pints loaded with those iconic chunks! So how would these simpler pints fare?

I'm happy to report, loaded or not, Ben & Jerry's Scoop-apalooza pints are still as delicious as anything. I actually found it refreshing to taste the base flavors a bit more without the distraction of mix-ins—it highlights the quality of the dairy that Ben & Jerry's uses for its ice cream. Plus, each flavor still has one swirl or chunk, so you don't miss the mix-ins entirely.

The Vanilla & Fudge Brownie is a sure-fire winner, with the same chunks of brownie that grace one of my personal favorite Ben & Jerry's flavors, Half Baked. The Chocolate & Fudge Swirl is a chocolate lover's dream come true, with a seriously thick and decadent fudge swirl I couldn't stop coming back to. But it's the other two flavors that stole the show for me.

I'll caveat this by saying that my two favorite flavors of ice cream growing up were Strawberry and Coffee, so it's no surprise I love these two. The Coffee & Fudge Chip was a truly bold coffee flavor with a rich creaminess to balance the slightly bitter coffee, while Strawberries & Cream is just luxe. The sweet cream base was new to me and is a new favorite with an unbelievably smooth and rich texture, and a bright strawberry swirl to elevate the whole thing. In the case of these four super-sized flavors, there's no such thing as too much of a good thing.

Yes, the Scoop-apalooza flavors are designed to be shared—but that doesn't mean you're going to want to.
