Bella Hadid Returns to Rightfully Claim the Cannes Film Festival Throne
After a two-year-long absence, Bella Hadid returned to the Cannes Film Festival, walking the red carpet for "The Apprentice" on Monday wearing an almost completely sheer dress from Saint Laurent's very naked Fall 2024 collection.
The faded brown dress features two mesh panels that meet in a halter neckline, putting Hadid intimately on display, as well as a ruched and ruffled torso that creates a more opaque look down the middle. It becomes sheer again a little below the hip, exposing the model's legs.
Rather than wear the matching headpiece seen on the runway, Hadid opted to show off her dark brunette tresses in Old Hollywood-like waves parted at the side. The rest of her glam furthered that vibe, with smokey eyeshadow and a nude lip. On the accessories front, she wore gold drop earrings and statement rings, plus dark brown patent leather peep-toe heels.
The 27-year-old has one of the most consistent best-dressed track records when it comes to Cannes. One of her most memorable ensembles was another body-baring look in 2021: her Schiaparelli Haute Couture black long-sleeve dress with a cut-out at the chest, topped with a golden lungs necklace.
With five days of the festival left to go, this look is hopefully one of many great outfits to come from the model and Orebella founder.
