Cindy Crawford us undisputedly one of the most beautiful women in the world and she has now proved that age is just a number in a birthday selfie.

The stunning supermodel, who turned 50 over the weekend, took to her Instagram page to celebrate the milestone with her one million followers.

"First day at 50. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes yesterday," Cindy said in the post, which was filled with well wishes from fans.

Crawford, who was whisked away to St Barts for her big birthday by her husband Rande Gerber, looked flawless in the candid snap, smiling up at the camera while showing off her signature caramel tresses and amazing skin.

Throughout the weekend, it seems Crawford has been reminiscing, as she posted a series of photos from birthdays gone by.

In between bikini-clad strolls on the beach with her beloved, the mother-of-two also uploaded a picture of her massive 21st cake, which was adorned with an image of her Vogue cover.

Another showed her sipping on a glass of rose as she watched the sun go down.
