Sephora To Attempt Over 118 Makeovers In One Hour

We all know by now that Sephora pretty much rules in the beauty stakes, but now they're going one step further by attempting to break a Guinness World Record for their first birthday in Australia.

Last December, Sydney's beauty scene was sent into disarray when Sephora opened a massive Pitt St Mall store and this Saturday they are hoping to complete over 118 makeovers in less than an hour, in that very store.

"We’ve worked it out and our expert beauties will need to complete a makeover every 2mins," Libby Amelia, Country Manager at Sephora said.

“Everyone knows Sephora is amazing, but we want to make it officially amazing."

The world record attempt will kick off at 11am on Saturday December 5 and hopeful participants have been asked to get down to the store before 10am to register their interest.

But the fun won't stop there.

Sephora will be throwing a huge birthday bash in the store all day, with live entertainment, DJs, performances and best of all there will be free beauty services and a gift with purchases.

Blogger and social media star Chloe Morello will also be on hand to present the first anniversary celebrations and if you're lucky you may nab yourself a free trip to LA with a friend.
