Yahoo Lifestyle ‘Baylen Out Loud’: Baylen’s Dad Issues Aggressive Warning to Her Boyfriend Colin (Exclusive Clip)
Baylen Out Loud star Baylen Dupree is making big moves with her boyfriend, Colin Dooley—and her dad, Allen, issued an aggressive warning in a new sneak-peek clip.
Ahead of the Feb. 10 episode of the reality series, TLC shared an exclusive clip with Parade featuring the tense interaction.
When Baylen's parents, Allen and Julie, learned that Baylen, 22, and Colin, 23, were getting a place of their own together, they expressed serious concerns. Baylen—who lives with Tourette syndrome and sometimes experiences debilitating tics—has never lived away from them.
Things came to a head between Allen and Colin during a conversation about Baylen that will play out in Episode 5.
"She told me multiple times that I haven't seen that side of her, where she's been bedridden and she's had to take showers with clothes on, and you or Julie had to give her showers," Colin said of Baylen, as he and Allen stood next to a chainsaw and other power tools on a table.
"But I'm not leaving her side no matter what," he reassured Allen. "I'm not leaving when things get tough. She's my No. 1 priority. I promise you that I will do everything I can to protect her."
After taking a deep breath and pausing, Allen shared his bold reply.
"I can't say this enough. Because, I mean, I f--king mean this," the protective dad said. "And I mean this as I'm staring into your f--king brain, Colin. Nothing better happen to my kid. Nothing."
He continued, "If she's over three on your watch and something happens to her, I'm telling you, Colin, I will f--king find you, OK?"

When a producer asked Allen if he was "ready to let Baylen go," he answered, "Whether I'm ready or not, I gotta let her go, so..." before getting emotional.
Meanwhile, Colin admitted in a confessional, "It was a hard conversation to have. I think now I'm still kind of digesting everything because it makes me feel, like, am I doing something wrong?"
He concluded, "But I know that I love Baylen with everything in me, and I will do anything to prove to Allen how sincere my feelings are for her."
