Barbie Blank Coba is celebrating a beautiful first year with her twins!

The former pro wrestler, 37, known to her WWE fans as Kelly Kelly, had a wonderful time celebrating her twins, son Jaxon Matthew and daughter Brooklyn Marie, on their first birthday alongside husband Joe Coba, their friends and family.

"The shark and mermaid theme was just too perfect for the twins! I wanted something fun that represented both of them, so we went with a theme that balanced both the boy and girl vibes without being too obvious," she tells PEOPLE.

"I handed everything over to Mackenzie, my planner at RSVP Club, and she executed everything from décor sourcing to creative direction. With the 'One-der the Sea' theme, there were so many fun elements to play with, making it whimsical, playful, and absolutely perfect for my babies!"

Blank Coba applauds her team for helping bring her vision of the day to life.

"The balloon setup from Laura Luxe was absolutely stunning—she put so much time and energy into creating installations that perfectly fit the theme, and it really showed! Every vendor was able to showcase their unique talents and creativity, which made the party truly stand out," she says.

"The dessert and grazing tables were especially amazing—Chas from Cakes by Chas made the cutest cakes, and I’m still dreaming about the shark and mermaid treats from NY Cake Pops and Sweet Cakery LA. A Little Extra LA created a beautiful grazing table, and Kinrose Creamery brought an ice cream cart that was perfect for keeping everyone cool in the heat. Every little detail made the day feel extra special and magical for the twins!"

Being twin parents can be a wild ride, but the happy couple has embraced the "sleepless nights and endless cuddles."

"This first year has been filled with sleepless nights, endless cuddles, and moments I wish I could freeze forever. Brooklyn said, 'mama' for the first time at 4 months. Jackson started crawling around 6 months and his first word was 'dada,' " the proud mom shares.

"Both are very observant and active as they go to mommy and me classes once a week, and love to be outside! They’ve been to the beaches in Malibu and the lakes in Idaho! We’ve taken them to see horses and have also been to the zoo. It’s truly amazing to see their different personalities grow," she continues.

"Jaxon is the sweetest, chillest boy who has the most infectious giggle. Brooklyn is as wild and sassy as they come but also just the sweetest and just a total mama's girl."

As they step into their toddler era, the twins are "right in the middle of some major milestones."

"Jaxon is standing and hopefully start walking soon. Brooklyn is the fastest crawler, if you take your eyes off her for a second, poof she’s gone!"

The party was really special for the family of four, who were surrounded by loved ones as the couple watched their twins light up throughout the day.

"Family is first, so to have my mom, Robin, and sister, Mary, there for their first birthday meant the world to Joe and I. There was also Joe’s brother Cole and sister-in-law Tiffany, with their two twins dressed as mermaids. All of our friends also flew into town and drove a long distance to come," she says.

As for the twins, "Some of their favorite moments were their shark and mermaid-themed outfits, the cake smashing, dancing to the music and with the baby shark! They loved the stuffed animals, all the fun vendors, and getting into the pool in the end because it was so hot!"

Laughing, she adds, "Brooklyn is such a water baby, just like her mommy, and was having the time of her life in the pool."

The family is looking forward to enjoying this next part of the year and all the new memories it will bring with their toddlers.

"I’m looking forward to all the new experiences we can share as they continue to grow. Since they've already dressed up and visited the pumpkin patch, this year we’re excited to explore new fall traditions. We plan to take them to local farmer’s markets, where they can pick out their own pumpkins and discover new sights and smells," she says.

"I’m also looking forward to introducing them to new fall flavors, like warm apple treats, and maybe even letting them help out in the kitchen in their own messy, adorable way."

The four will be taking enjoying the warm West Coast weather for as long as they can.

"Living in L.A., we have the benefit of enjoying beach days even in the cooler months. So we’ll take advantage of that with early morning walks by the ocean. We’re also looking forward to cozy family moments, reading new books together, and celebrating Halloween with new costumes. It’s all about letting them experience the magic of the season in ways that match their growing curiosity, and creating memories that will last a lifetime."
