The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love and beau Lee Elliot are officially engaged.

Georgia and Lee both took to Instagram to share the happy news with their fans on Sunday night.

“If you’re not busy for the next 50 or 60 years...”, Georgia posted alongside a photo showing off her new bling and the hashtag #YES.

Lee posted the same sweet image to share the news, adding the caption “I liked it so I put a ring on it”.

Who could forget the moment Georgia first met Lee on the set of The Bachelorette Australia in 2016.

He certainly left a lasting impression when he rocked up accompanied by a donkey, with Georgie declaring her love for Lee in the romantic season finale.

But the couple didn’t have an easy start to their romance, the journalist opening up about how she lost her mum to pancreatic cancer just days after the finale aired.

“It was really hard on him, and it was really hard on our relationship,” Georgia said speaking on The Thinkergirls Pod Channel.

“We had a very rocky first six months, and I'm not afraid to say that.”

But given how Bachie weddings and Bachie babies continue to make headlines recently, fans could be forgiven for eagerly awaiting this pair’s own happy milestone.

Congratulations have already begun to flood in for the couple.

Former Bachelor in Paradise contestant Jake Ellis wrote: “Finally! Congrats you two!”

“So happy for you guys,” Laure Henshaw posted.
