Bachelorette viewers horrified by 'awkward' first kiss of the season
Bachelorette Becky Miles went in for her first kiss of the season on Thursday night’s episode, but fans were quick to share their thoughts on the ‘uncomfortable’ moment.
Becky and Shannon Karaka had enjoyed a fun farm date before settling in front of a fire for a chat, which ultimately led to a rose and then a kiss.
Viewers however were quick to take to Twitter to call out the moment as ‘awkward’.
“That kiss was so uncomfortable to watch,” one person said, while another joked: “Shannon needs some pash lessons.”

“Becky is straight up reminding me how weird dates are and how horrifically uncomfortable it is to kiss someone in front of people,” another person thought.
“Why did the show force me to see his tongue,” was another comment.
While a different viewer said: “That kiss looked like neither of them had kissed before.”
Becky and Shannon both shared a giggle afterwards, with the Bachelorette telling producers she definitely thinks there is a ‘spark’.
“I think there's definitely a spark and butterflies there with Shannon,” she said.
“We're definitely on the same kind of timeline. We're both the same age. We're kind of ready to just find our person.”
Shannon, 30, works in sales in NSW and was once crowned Mr Polynesia 2017.
The Bachelorette Australia continues on Channel 10 on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30pm.
