Despite declaring their love for each other on last night's Bachelor finale, Network Ten has released a statement confirming Blake Gervey and Sam Frost have already called it quits.
“Network Ten can confirm that Blake and Sam have sadly ended their engagement. When Blake proposed to Sam in South Africa, he did so because he had genuinely fallen in love with her. He was excited to start a life with Sam and was very much looking forward to their future together,” the statement reads.
“Unfortunately, not all relationships are meant to be, and feelings invariably change. Once Blake returned to his everyday life, he realised that they both wanted different things from a relationship and had different priorities. Blake has the greatest love and respect for Sam, but has made the difficult decision to end the relationship.”
The 25-year-old beauty has since taken to twitter and reveal she is just as confused as we are as to what went wrong between her and Blake:
People need to stop asking why we broke up. Trust me, I'm just as in the dark as you all are.. Blake is the one calling all the shots here.

The rumour mill went into overdrive after last night's dramatic finale and following Channel Ten's decision to cancel all scheduled media appearances this morning and in the lead-up to the finale.
One of the rumours doing the rounds is that one of the Bachelorettes - and not Sam - might even be pregnant with Blake’s baby.
Runner-up Lisa Hyde, 27, also took to social media to clear up the pregnancy rumours, writing: "Wow what an incredible journey that was! Thank you everyone for all your love and support. I can confirm the rumor and I am definitely not pregnant with Blakes baby... Lol I wish Sam and Blake all the best in the next chapter of their lives."
