Bachelor In Paradise's Alex Nation 'heartbroken' again

If there’s one contestant on Bachelor In Paradise who’s been very popular this season, it’s Alex Nation.

The mother-of-one has struck up some solid romances with Bill Goldsmith and Brooke Blurton, which ultimately led to James Trethewie deciding to leave the island because it all got too much.

But now there’s some signs suggesting that Richie Strahan’s ex will be heartbroken, and it’s all got to do with Bill.

After filming of the show wrapped in Fiji up a couple of months ago, Bill and Alex had been spotted packing on the PDA in Australia, suggesting they get together at the end.

However, Bill has been seen ‘liking’ comments on social media that aren’t so flattering of Alex, which seems to suggest they may no longer be an item.

When a photo of Bill and Alex’s first kiss (above) was shared on the official Bachelor In Paradise Instagram account, Bill appeared to ‘like’ a troll’s comment that read: “Who isn’t she on with yuck”.

What’s more, the former Bachelorette star has recently been spotted out and about with a mystery brunette, which only adds fuel to the Alex split rumours.

Meanwhile last night’s episode featured the second shock walkout for the season, with fan favourite James Trethewie deciding to leave the Fijian island on his own terms.

The 33-year-old only had eyes for Alex, but seeing her pash Bill and then take Brooke Blurton on a date, was too complicated of a love square for Jimmy to handle.

“It’s just hard for me to be here while you’re exploring everything,” James told Alex at the cocktail party before the rose ceremony.

“What are you saying though?” Alex tried to clarify.

“I think I have to leave Paradise because I’ve been thinking about it all day,” he responded.

“The only person here that I feel I really wanted to explore a connection with was you. I don’t know if I can handle watching you exploring everyone else and you need to, because that’s how you feel.”

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle Australia on Wednesday, James said he was well aware of Alex and Brooke’s connection, but it was really the Bill romance that affected him, especially as they were roommates.

‘I couldn’t sleep that night,’ he revealed, referring to the evening Bill spent in Alex’s villa.

Bachelor In Paradise continues at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.
