The Bachelor alum Clayton Echard is calling out ex Gabby Windey for bullying after her recent podcast appearance.

Windey appeared on Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers' Las Culturistas last week, where she compared Echard's appearance to a toe and criticized his recent dance videos on social media. "His dancing videos, oh my God — they will make you run," The Traitors star said. "I'm going to send you one and you'll wish you didn't have eyes." Echard has since hit back, calling Windey's comments "completely unnecessary."

Explaining that dancing has been a medium for "self-love and self-confidence," Echard addressed his ex directly: "Gabby, what you’re doing is bullying. There’s no other way around it,” he said in a video shared on Instagram. “You’re attacking me for my physical appearance. You’re attacking me for a passion that I love that’s changed my life. It’s unnecessary, and it’s not funny." He called it "disheartening" that Windey has "such a large platform," and yet, "you're setting a bad example."

With the new hobby, Echard said he was "truly so grateful to have found something where I get to work on myself every day and challenge myself." He added, "I’m not the greatest at it and I’m aware of that. I’m not delusional, but it’s me versus me every single day. I get in that studio and it’s movement therapy. It’s allowed me to release a lot of my anger and frustrations.”

"I have to stand up for myself and that's why I'm making this video," Echard said, adding that he did not want people to "be afraid" to try something new. "Do better, Gabby," he said. “I haven’t talked to you in three years and you continue to take shots at me, and it’s just unnecessary. I hope you do better, and I hope I don’t have to make videos like this, but I do believe accountability should be had.”

Windey was among the final three of contenders on Echard's season 26 of The Bachelor in 2022, alongside Susie Evans and Rachel Recchia. Echard ultimately got engaged to Evans, but the two called it quits later that year. Windey would go on to co-headline season 19 of The Bachelorette with Recchia, where she got engaged to Erich Schwer before the two ultimately split. Windey wed her partner Robby Hoffman earlier this year.
