Baby Boy Smiles With Pure Joy After Recognizing Harry Styles Song 'From the Womb'
Since babies aren't exactly born with the ability to tell us their thoughts and memories, we may never truly know what they can remember from the womb. But plenty of moms out there have their own anecdotal evidence about what their babies may hold onto after birth. Personally, I listened to a lot of Taylor Swift while I was pregnant... and after my daughter was born, her music was the only thing that would calm her down during the witching hour. Even now, if we're having a day with a lot of meltdowns, a little Folklore goes a long way.
And for the baby in the TikTok video below, the musician that he clearly remembers is Harry Styles. There's no doubt he knows this is exactly what his mama was listening to while she was pregnant after seeing that smile!

On Tuesday, November 19, new mom @thecapricorndiaries shared the way her baby boy reacted when the music video for Harry's song "Late Night Talking" was playing on TV. He might not have known who the singer is, but he definitely knew that he'd heard that voice before.
Immediately, he was paying full attention with the biggest smile on his face. This little sweetheart is so happy (and so cute!).
Not only did commenters gush about how adorable he is, but plenty of fellow Harry fans could relate. "I also have the same reaction when I see Harry," one person wrote, while another commented, "I too look at Harry with childlike wonder."
If this baby boy's happy face wasn't enough proof that babies can remember what they heard in the womb, science backs up that claim, too. As The Guardian once reported, studies have shown that little ones who listened to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" while in the womb 5 days a week toward the end of pregnancy produced a stronger electrical response in their brains to the song after birth than babies who hadn't heard it.
It's not clear how long those auditory memories are hanging around, but it's reason enough to play your baby-to-be your favorite songs during pregnancy, knowing that they'll probably respond more strongly to them than others once they're born. Besides, it probably gets boring in there. Maybe listening to tunes can help them pass those long 9 months in solitary confinement before they're able to come out and join us.
This little one already has good taste in music right out of the gate, so his mom is clearly raising him right. Maybe he'll grow up to be a musician someday too.
