Aziz Ansari, Kevin Hart, Leslie Jones Among Headliners of Rhode Island’s Inaugural Lil Rhody Laugh Riot (EXCLUSIVE)

Aziz Ansari, Kevin Hart and Leslie Jones are among the comics set to headline Rhode Island’s inaugural Lil Rhody Laugh Riot, a four-day comedy festival taking place March 27 to 30.

The Providence fest will also feature headliners Chris Distefano, Hannah Berner, Michael Blaustein and more names to be announced. Josh Johnson, Melissa Villasenor, Tone Bell, Sophie Buddle, Alec Flynn and Andy Woodhull round out the first wave of the lineup announcement.

Anchored at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium (aka the VETS), Lil Rhody Laugh Riot will also spill out into satellite venues across the city, like the Providence Performing Arts Center and RI Comedy Connection.

Hart will perform Thursday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Providence Performing Arts Center. Ansari will play the same venue on Saturday at 7 p.m. And that day, Jones will take the stage at the VETS at 4 p.m.

“This event isn’t just about comedy, it’s about creating a space where people from all walks of life can come together and share in the joy of laughter,” said Daniel Schwartz, general manager of the VETS. “Our lineup transcends generations, blending comedy icons like Kevin Hart with hilarious rising stars like Chris Distefano to ensure there’s something for everyone. Rhode Island has always been known for its charm and creativity, and this festival will showcase both in the best way possible.”
