Australia's Next Top Model star announces she's pregnant

Australia’s Next Top Model star Cassi Van Den Dungen has announced she’s pregnant with her second child.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the 26-year-old model shared a photo of herself with a small baby bump emerging, and revealed she’s just over four months into her pregnancy.

“Baby boy 2 #18weeks Totally hiding on me still. Waiting patiently for this baby belly to pop. #ModelMummy,” she captioned the social media snap.

Cassi, who appeared in the 2009 series of Australia’s Next Top Model, already has a seven-year-old son she shares with boyfriend Brad Saul.

Over the years the model has made headlines for her weight, notably in 2014 when some fashion spectators labelled her as looking ‘frail’ during an Alex Perry runway show.

Cassi addessed her weight in an interview earlier this year and revealed she’d gained 10kg.

“I wanted to gain it because I’d had enough of people saying that I was so skinny,” she told news.com.au in February.

“I’ve put on a total of 10kg and I’m really happy about that. I finally have a healthy BMI, it’s the first time I’ve been in the 18-25 range since I was 15.

“I’ve grown up my whole life with people telling me I’m skinny, even though I was healthy and doctors and health professionals told me I was fine and it impacted me emotionally every time.”
