Australia's most and least sexiest suburbs revealed

Australia's sexiest and least sexiest suburbs have been revealed, courtesy of the tireless folks at online adult retailer Lovehoney, who used recent search and sales data to lift the lid on bedroom secrets across the country.

Taking out the top spot is Melbourne CBD, where residents spend more of their hard-earned cash on sex toys and accessories than in any other Aussie location. And it appears Melbourne women are having the most fun, with a clitoral stimulator being the most popular purchase for the postcode.

Melburnians also buy more lingerie than other cities, while their home state of Victoria snaps up the most manually operated dildos in the country. Go Victoria!

Coming in second place is perpetually sexy Bondi in NSW, followed by Springfield and Redbank in Queensland, then Gungahlin in the ACT is behind in fourth.

Western Australians are no slouches when it comes to getting raunchy, taking out four spots in the top 10. WA also takes out the 2023 Sporty Spice Award, for purchasing more kegel exercisers than any other region.

Meanwhile, Noosa residents are apparently the least adventurous when it comes to bedroom fun, as the location was named least sexy. However, Queensland takes out the Kinkiest State Award, buying the most BDSM and sex machine products.

When it comes to our states and territories, the sexiest state award goes to NSW, where people buy the most amount of adult products.

Australian Capital Territory came in at seventh place, with the Heatwave Award for buying more warning and tingling lubes than any other region.

Unfortunately, the Northern Territory took out last place with the Vanilla Award, buying the least amount of products.
