Aussie model shares why she's ditching 'half-dressed' photos

Simone Holtznagel has shared how she doesn't want her Instagram account to feature lingerie and swimwear pictures alone.

The 27-year-old model and former I'm A Celeb star, who has spent much of her career working with swimwear and underwear brands, has been using the pandemic to showcase her other talents, like cooking and mixology.

"I get so much interaction when I post especially cooking stuff or making cocktails," she told the Daily Telegraph. "I think it is kind of refreshing for people to see, rather than just another chick half-dressed on Instagram. I could post a photo in lingerie or swimwear every day but it gets a bit old after a while."

"I have always been interested in cooking but now with my social media, I get so much interaction and traction on it, it is kind of crazy," she added.

Simone explained she'll be trying to show more of that side of her life rather than the lingerie and swimwear shoots.

The model has been sharing her cooking endeavours to her Instagram Stories and it does seem as though she may have found her calling with mouthwatering pasta dishes, ramen and roast potatoes to name a few.

Simone recently took to Instagram to share a loving tribute for her friend Charlotte Dawson, who took her own life seven years ago.

"The last 7 years when this date comes around, I feel like I want to say something profound about suicide & losing one of the most special people in my life," she wrote. "But 7 years comes and goes and I still can’t seem to find the right words other than - I miss you, I love you & I f***ing wish you were here. That’s all I can manage. 22/02/2014.

Megan Gale added, "Trying to put words together with grief is at times extremely challenging. Your words are perfect and more than enough."

Ellie Gonsalves wrote, "Love you so much... words aren’t ever enough to make days like this easier."
