Aussie beauty blogger gives mum incredible makeover

An Australian beauty blogger has taught her mum how to do her own makeup like a professional makeup artist would – and the results are incredible.

Stephanie Lange, who hails from NSW but now lives in Donegal in Ireland, uploaded a video to her YouTube page for her 1.2 million subscribers, detailing the best tips and tricks for creating a flawless complexion.

In the tutorial, Stephanie, who is pregnant with her first child, explains that she did her mum’s makeup first on one half of her face, so she could see how it was done and then got her beautiful mum to do the other side herself.

Her mum initially seemed a bit hesitant about Stephanie’s instructions, especially when she told her to put Fenty foundation on her eyelids as an eyeshadow primer. However, within minutes she was loving her new look.

Stephanie showed her mum how to use a Beautyblender, how to blend her eyeshadow, line her eyes with eyeliner and fill in her eyebrows.

One of her best tricks was how to make large pores look smaller when applying foundation.

If you swipe down over pores with a brush, she says it doesn’t fill in the pores at all, however, if you use a blending brush and do ‘tiny, gentle circular motions’, it gets the foundation into the pores and make them look smaller.

She finished off the look with highlighter, blush, and a sweep of Charlotte Tilbury mascara and lipstick.

“I think with a bit of practice it will be really easy to do,” Stephanie’s mum said.

In the caption on the video, Stephanie said she’s ‘seriously proud of this tutorial’.

“I hope you love this tutorial as much as me and my gorgeous Mum loved creating it for you.”

Taking to her Instagram page, Stephanie said she hopes she looks half as good as her mum does when she’s in her 60s.

“I you have a mum or auntie or grandma who you want to help feel absolutely BEAUTIFUL then this tutorial is for you! Or if you’re a babe of a mature woman and you want to pick up a few mature makeup tips then this is the video for you too,” she said.

People couldn’t get over how good her mum looked, with one person saying: “She looks 20 years younger!!! Wow!! This is definitely your most epic video!”

“Best thing ever. I wish you could do this to my mom,” another person said.
