The 2024 Met Gala will see celebrities hit the steps of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art dressed in their interpretation of this year's dress code, “The Garden of Time.”

While the event's guest list "is top secret" until the night before the benefit, per Vogue, star gazers on May 6 can expect to see Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth descend upon the iconic steps.

The foursome, along with Vogue's Anna Wintour, are serving as this year’s official co-chairs, while Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Chew are the honorary chairs for the evening, which will mark the aforementioned Thor actor's first time at the gala.

Aside from the previously named co-chairs, the only other confirmed guest is Rihanna, who is no stranger to fashion's biggest night. Speaking to Vogue, she let spill, “I’m gonna wear Fenty something! Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Savage…”

“I’ve done so much sh-t in my life," she continued. "I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out. But now, those are the things which, I guess as a mum and an evolved young lady–emphasis on young– there are things I feel like I would never do. Like, ‘Oh my God, I really did that? Nips out?’”

Page Six has reported that Gisele Bündchen, Kendall Jenner, Olivia Rodrigo, Uma Thurman, Sarah Paulson and Cara Delevingne, who have all attended the event before, will be in attendance again this year. Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan is also said to have scored an invitation.

The outlet also reported that two other newcomers to the guest list include Killers of the Flower Moon's Lily Gladstone and The Bear's Ayo Edebiri.

According to The New York Times's fashion director and chief fashion critic Vanessa Friedman, the "odds are good" that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez will be at the gala, and chances are "high that Loewe faces such as Greta Lee, Josh O’Connor, Taylor Russell and Jamie Dornan may also show." In an interview with E! News, Zendaya said she believes "the boys" aka her Challengers costars [Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist] "are going to go."

Beyoncé, who always stuns on the steps of the museum, would be a spectacular (and timely) addition to the guest-list, as would Anne Hathaway, Miley Cyrus and Ali Wong (with Bill Hader on her arm, of course).

This year's Met Gala will celebrate the opening of the Costume Institute’s spring 2024 exhibition: "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion." The exhibition will be open May 10 through Sept. 2, 2024.
