Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Get Into Character at the L.A. Premiere of ‘Wicked’ With Dramatic Looks
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo haven’t missed an opportunity to pay tribute to their “Wicked” characters on their recent press tour — and the Los Angeles premiere of the film was no exception.
Grande and Erivo channeled Glinda and Elphaba on the red carpet tonight, wearing looks in their respective pink and green schemes. Grande, who has favored tea-length dresses throughout her “Wicked” press looks, opted for a pink gingham gown by Thom Browne with a matching bow in her hair and pair of gloves. She accessorized her look with pearl earrings and a pair of glittering crystal-encrusted pumps.

Erivo wore a sleek green Louis Vuitton gown with cutouts at the front and sides and paired it with a floor-length fringe wrap. She completed her look with a diamond and emerald collar necklace, layered diamond earrings and rings, and gem stone-topped nail art.
The co-stars have been coordinating looks all press tour long, most recently wearing odes to their “Wicked” characters at the Sydney premiere of the film last Sunday, Nov. 3. For the occasion, Grande went full Glinda in a custom Vivienne Westwood tulle gown, while Erivo wore a sculptural Louis Vuitton gown.
Erivo wore another Louis Vuitton gown — a green leather dress with ruffled trim — and Roberto Coin jewelry to this year’s Oscars, where she and Grande, in a pink voluminous Giambattista Valli creation, presented the awards for Best Original Song and Best Original Score.
The pair also coordinated looks inspired by their “Wicked” characters at a recent photocall in Sydney, where Grande wore a custom pink bow-topped two-piece ensemble by Bode and Erivo stepped out in an embroidered emerald blouse and a pencil skirt from Marc Jacobs’s fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection.
While the film won’t be released until Nov. 22, “Wicked” has already left its mark on the beauty and fashion world, inspiring a handful of collaborations.
