We're not complaining.

We don’t know what it is about seasonal fast food menus that get us so amped to head to the drive-thru, but whatever it is, keep it coming! There's nothing quite like eating or drinking something that coincides with the weather or the all-around spirit of the moment we’re in. We'll take all the tortilla soup and nacho fries we can get.

But when we get a sneak peek of what's coming soon, it might be even better. Especially when fast food fish sandwiches are involved. Lent may still be weeks away, but we're already starting to see limited-time offerings for those skipping meat on Fridays.

Because so many fast food spots specialize in beef and chicken, Catholics who follow Lent rules during the 40-day period before Easter are less inclined to hit a drive-thru when their options are more narrow. That’s where the fish sandwich comes in. McDonald’s started the trend with the Filet-O-Fish, but now countless chains have followed suit, including Arby’s. Though while most fast food joints only have one fish sandwich option, Arby’s has three —and they're available now, well ahead of the start of Lent on March 5.

The chain that normally "has the meats" is expanding beyond roast beef by bringing back its Crispy Fish Sandwich, Fish ‘N Cheddar Sandwich, and King’s Hawaiian Fish Deluxe Sandwich for the season.

The simple but satisfying Crispy Fish Sandwich features a fried fish fillet topped with shredded lettuce and tartar sauce, complete with a toasted sesame bun.

The Fish ‘N Cheddar Sandwich has everything from the Crispy Fish Sandwich plus a Cheddar cheese sauce added on top of the fish fillet.

Arby’s King’s Hawaiian Fish Deluxe Sandwich offers up a crispy fish fillet, a slice of Cheddar, tartar sauce, tomato, and lettuce, all on a sweet King’s Hawaiian bun.

The tasty fan-favorite fish sandwiches, which some on Reddit even call "the best," will stick around for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide—likely through Easter. And since the holiday isn't until April 20, we'll have an extra long time to enjoy them this year.
