Anthony Ramos helped Glen Powell make an important decision.

Ramos, 32, and his dog, Prince, helped Powell, 35, decide to adopt Brisket the puppy, the In the Heights actor — who recently attended the New England Patriots vs. New York Jets watch party hosted by The Athletic for its Superstition Swap campaign — tells PEOPLE.

When asked what it was like to work with Brisket on the Twisters set, the New York Jets superfan says, "The best part was Brisket and my dog, Prince, playing together all the time," calling Powell's pup "so cute." Both Ramos and Powell brought their pups behind the scenes on Twisters to hang out, but Powell didn't start production with a dog.

"I remember when Glen was on set, and he was thinking about getting a dog, and Prince would be around all the time, and he was like, 'Yo, bro, you think I should do it?'" Ramos says.

Ramos continues, "And everyone was like, 'Yeah, bro, it's a lot of responsibility, but it's great, man. It's great if you could swing it.' Brisket is the perfect size to travel with him. He's such a sweet dog. He's super fun."

The Hamilton actor also jokes that if there is a follow-up movie to Twisters, "We'll get Prince and Brisket in the sequel."

Powell adopted Brisket and introduced his pup on Instagram in July 2023. "It's a ruff world out there, so I thought it was about time I hire a proper bodyguard," Powell captioned the post announcing the dog's adoption. "Meet Brisket, 1.5 pounds of raw power."

Brisket became a fixture on the set of Twisters, with Powell telling PEOPLE in June that "every department was taking care of Brisket."

Ramos adopted Prince during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to ABC News.

He previously told PEOPLE about his four-year-old Alaskan Klee Kai/American Eskimo Dog mix Prince in September 2023. "He travels the world with me," Ramous said at the time, adding, "He comes to work with me all the time. He'd be in the studio. He'd be wherever I go."

Prince also loves basking in the sunlight. "He's a winter dog that likes to sunbathe," Ramos joked.
