Anne Hathaway Has 'No Trouble' with Nude Scenes

When it comes to finding her Prince Charming, the ultimate on-screen princess, Anne Hathaway, has just one deal-breaker.
"Uh … fraud?" she tells Vogue magazine in its November issue.
It's something she can joke about now, more than two years after her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, pleaded guilty to 14 counts of money laundering, conspiracy and wire fraud. Besides, she has bigger things to worry about – like the steamy sex scenes she shares with Jake Gyllenhaal in her upcoming film Love and Other Drugs.
"These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off – in a way their bodies are their currency," the actress, 27, says of her nude scenes with Gyllenhaal. "But they're terrified of exposing their vulnerability – of becoming emotionally naked."
But that's just what she became while shooting scenes for the film, which hits theaters Nov. 24. The romantic comedy is built around the importance of trust in a relationship, and she said she couldn't escape the memories of her ex when she read the script.
"I was a wreck from start to finish," she says. "I think I cried every single day ... Gosh, I hate talking about the breakup, because I don't want it to define me, but as is to be expected, there were a lot of lingering trust issues, and I think that making a film about trust that required a great deal of trust – well, it was a challenge to get there."
But it's something she's working on – with her current beau, actor Adam Shulman, 29, who she was first spotted with in June 2009.
"When I begin a relationship, there's that pressure to be the most, to be more comfortable and open than anyone else," she says. "When you finally realise that you can just be your own scared, f-ked-up self and that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it's such a great relief – when uncondensed you is enough."
