Angelina Jolie and Her Daughter Vivienne Hit the Red Carpet Together
And Angelina pulled out her most glamorous cape for the mommy-and-me moment.
Just last week, Angelina Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt celebrated the previews for The Outsiders on Broadway — a show that they're producing together. Tonight, the mother-daughter duo hit the red carpet for the show's official premiere in New York City, with the Oscar-winning actress wearing a dramatic (and glamorous) cape over a bronze-hued silky slipdress. Jolie wore her new lighter hair in loose waves and added a pair of large geometric gold earrings to her outfit, which she finished off with a bold red lip color.
At just 15 years old, Vivienne can now add the new stage adaptation of S. E. Hinton's beloved 1967 novel to her résumé. While her mom went full-on glam for the event, Vivienne wore a dark blue jumpsuit for her appearance on the red carpet.

Many fans of The Outsiders associate it with the 1983 film, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The musical adds all-new songs to the show, including "Stay Gold," inspired by the Robert Frost poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay." People notes that the song takes its title from a line that Ponyboy says to his friend Johnny in the production.
Jolie shared that she would be the lead producer on the new musical back in the summer of 2023. She also revealed that her daughter would be joining the production as an assistant after she saw a pre-Broadway production in San Diego and was inspired to get involved.
"I feel so strongly about this material and this creative team," Jolie told People. "It’s been a privilege to be a part of the process. I have so much respect for Broadway and all who work within."

After previews of the new show started on Mar. 16, Jolie said that she's excited to see what audiences think.
"I've been in the theater watching as the first reactions came in, including the often very emotional reaction from young people. It’s very moving," she added.
