Andy Cohen Gives Bold Title to ’Today’s Hoda Kotb, Says Savannah Guthrie ‘Could Never’

Hoda Kotb is being honored during her last week on Today with an all-out "Hoda-bration" including appearances from some of her closest friends—such as good pal Andy Cohen.

The Watch What Happens Live host joined Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the morning show's Jan. 7 broadcast to share his five favorite things about the longtime anchor—or his "What Watch Happens Five," as he put it.

"These are my five things that I love about you, Hoda," Cohen began.

"Number five: Best head of hair on television," he continued. "Savannah [Guthrie] could never! She wishes. Savannah wishes."

As Kotb and Bush Hager laughed, Cohen moved on to the next item on his list.

"Number four: The fact that you have the bravery and the wherewithal to leave something as huge as the Today Show while at the top of your game, I give it up for you," he said. "You are choosing life and I so admire that."

Cohen's next compliment harkened back to the days when Kotb hosted Today alongside Kathie Lee Gifford.

"The je ne sais quoi, the power that you had being the Kathie Lee whisperer," Cohen gushed. "You got this lady to just roll over time and time again in your hands."

The father-of-two's next point was more personal in tone.

"Number two: The courage and strength that you gave me to have kids later in life," Cohen said, referring to his son Benjamin, 5, and daughter Lucy, 2.

"You and I had a very impactful conversation in the hallway at Radio Andy one day and you were like, it's right on time, because I was worried about where I was in my life and my age," he shared, as Kotb appeared to get teary-eyed.

"You really set me straight and that conversation was very impactful to me personally and I really thank you for that guidance," he added.

At the top of Cohen's list was something Kotb's fans have admired for years.

"Number one thing I love about you is your damn bracelets," he said, prompting Kotb to realize in faux-horror that she was without most of her trademark bangles.

"It's the one day I'm not wearing them! It's the one day!" she cried.

"You're not wearing them?!" Cohen asked in disbelief.

"'Cause I went to the gym and I put them in a bag," Kotb explained as images of her bracelets on previous broadcasts appeared on the screen.

"Those should go in the broadcasting hall of fame," Cohen declared.

"Andy, I love you," Kotb replied.
