After Cooper asked Schumer about her "craziest fan interaction," the actress and comedian told the story of her encounter with the mystery athlete, who attended one of her stand-up shows.
"[It was] when I was at sort of my peak, touring arenas, whatever," Schumer said. "Were they a professional athlete? Sure."
“Did I text them late at night and they came over, went down on me and then I said, 'I’m so tired, I’m so sorry,' and they left? Yes."
Schumer, 43, then teased her former suitor by looking into the camera and stating, "You know who you are."
Despite admitting that she has "never" talked about the situation publicly, Schumer said the experience may have inspired a scene in her 2015 movie Trainwreck.
"He went down on me and then I yawned and was like [I'm tired]," she said. "That's a moment in Trainwreck—that's from real life."
Apparently, it wasn't the only time she found herself in that type of situation as Schumer confessed to the same type of thing happening to her "a couple times."
"I'm not proud of it," she quipped.
But fortunately, the unnamed athlete was "pretty cool" about the situation, even though another lover in the past was "furious" with Schumer after she didn't return the favor.
"You wanna be a giving lover, whatever whatever, but at this moment it was like, you know," she said. "Some people will blow a guy and that’s the end of the night. So I kind of did it my way, to quote Frank Sinatra."
