Amy Poehler can make her audience crack up about anything - even little coats.

Parks and Recreation's former deputy director was joined by her costar Retta and their friend, The Good Place actress D'Arcy Carden for the introductory "Hang Gang" segment of Tuesday's episode of her new podcast, Good Hang. The trio united to rizz up Poehler's upcoming main guest, Rashida Jones, laughing about how hard it is to keep up with her chic, yet constantly evolving fashion sense.

"All of a sudden I'm like, 'Oh, all my clothes are small! They're supposed to be big?' Like, do we have bangs? We don't have bangs. Big coats? Little coats?" Poehler joked. "Little coats!" Retta exclaimed. "I don't know that she's ever done little coats, maybe before I knew her. I've only seen her in big coats."

To the unanimous glee of the group, Poehler added, "The only people on Parks doing little coats were [Adam Scott] and [Aziz Ansari]. They had the littlest coats. I remember lifting up a coat and being like, 'Whose coat is this?' And it was Aziz's little coat."

Parks and Rec was full of actors and actresses of all shapes and sizes, but Scott and Ansari both have notably slender frames. Because the series centers on the inner workings of the Parks and Recreation department of a fictional Indiana small town, nearly all of its male characters - Scott and Ansari - wear suit jackets for most of every episode.

For seven seasons, Ansari played Tom Haverford, the goofy Parks administrator who was constantly cooking up harebrained schemes to make a quick buck, or just entertain himself. Subplots like his minority investment in the sleazy nightclub The Snakehole Lounge afforded him the opportunity to showcase a stunning variety of little coats, unlike Scott, whose stern and straight-laced state auditor Ben Wyatt seemingly never changes into anything less formal.

Poehler and Scott's characters fell in love over the course of their time working together, eventually getting married in the fifth season episode "Leslie and Ben." The pair have remained close off screen as well, playing stepmom and son in the 2019 Sundance film A.C.O.D.
