Aldi shoppers are currently facing a big dilemma and they are sharing their 'woes' in a fan group on social media. Despite what you may immediately think, this issue has nothing to do with a product being out of date or out of stock.

Nope, the problem with the item in question is that it is simply TOO delicious, according to Aldi customers. So, what is this product that has shoppers up in arms and rushing to the supermarket (or trying to avoid it entirely)?

The culprit appears to be the Crunchy Peanut Puffs from Sprinter's which people are saying are utterly delicious, addictive and impossible to put down.

"Got these today, and they are absolutely delicious!," one Aldi fan shared in a social media group.

"I was concerned they would be delicious.," someone replied. "I left them this week - might have to try them next shop."

"They’re way too good. Hard to stop eating them," the original poster replied.

"Yep they are yum yum," was another comment while another customer revealed that they were "eating them right now."

"I got some a few years ago, was glad when I couldn't find them again, highly addictive," another person shared.

Several other shoppers said that they were planning to grab these the next time they were in store while others commented on how much they taste like peanut butter (which could be a good or bad thing depending on your tastes.)

It seems that the Sprinter's Brand Peanut Puffs are similar to the Bamba brand ones - a popular Israeli-originating snack that can be found in the international aisle of Coles and Woolies.

The original poster also revealed that the Sprinter's ones tasted remarkably like the Oktoberfest version, as she expressed excitement that she didn't have to wait for Aldi's annual German Week to get her peanut puff fix.

Aldi is on something of a roll of late with the affordable grocery chain dropping a ton of new snacks and treats that shoppers are raving about - for example, the packets of Portuguese Tarts from the Sweet Haven brand that quickly went viral.

At just $5 for 4 tarts, shoppers were enthralled by both the price and the taste that they described as "amazing."

"They are yummy and the tart pastry is so crispy," said one impressed shopper.

"They are so nice", "Yum my favourites" and "Yum I need to try them" were other comments left by Aldi fans who were just as excited by the addition of the pastries to the supermarket's line-up.

Fans were also excited recently at the return of much-craved, forever-talked-about 99c Cake in a Mug with one shopper responding to the news of its return by laughing, ""Oh no!!! They are soooo good! And I just got over my addiction to them."
