Aldi's $3 flatbread buy 'as good as restaurant' shoppers rave
An Aldi flatbread has got shoppers raving online which many comparing the German supermarket’s staple as good as anything they have had in a restaurant.
Happy customers are sharing their love for the Indian-style Roti Paratha - which is described as flaky, layered flatbread - all across Facebook with posts in popular Aldi groups going back as far as earlier this year.
Just this week, multiple people have shared their thoughts on the ‘outstanding’ product.
“My goodness they are just outstanding,” one person wrote. “Aa good as anything you might get in a good Malay restaurant, at about a 6th of the price.”

“Anyone who likes Papparich restaurant, these are exactly the same,” one person said.
“I love them as well,” was another comment.
While a third wrote: “These are the best things! My little secret. Aldi’s flavour and texture on these can’t be beaten by any other supermarket.”
Plenty of people have also been sharing the many ways the flatbread has come in handy in the kitchen - from Nutella pizzas, to burritos and pies.
“Come up a treat in a sandwich press,” one person revealed.
“They are a perfect pizza base,” another said.
“We add egg and cheese and roll it up like a burrito,” was another tip.
While another suggested: “You can also use them as a pastry to make pies in a piemaker.”
