Aldi mum's bizarre frying-pan discovery: 'Can't unsee that!'

An Aldi shopper has shared the astonishing moment she realised that her freshly-cooked dinner bore an uncanny resemblance to a certain farm animal.

While Melbourne mum Nikki was frying up some pork loin steaks from Aldi she couldn’t help but notice that each piece of meat looked almost exactly like the beast it came from: a pig.

She tells Yahoo Lifestyle that she regularly shares snaps of her culinary adventures with her family and this was no exception.

“When I noticed my pork loin steaks from Aldi looked like little piggies I showed my family who all had a laugh,” she says.

To break up the ‘iso boredom’ that had set in, Nikki posted a pic of the pig-like steaks to Facebook, asking, “Is it just me or do my Aldi pork steaks look like little pigs?”

Nikki’s fellow Facebook users flocked to the post to agree with her and share ‘silly comments’ about the funny food.

“They definitely do. This made my day,” wrote one.

“Can’t unsee that now,” said another.

One shared a cheeky riff on a popular children’s rhyme:

“This little piggy went to the market... then I ate it,” they joked.
