Aldi buy a 'game-changer' thanks to hidden feature
There's something satisfying about finding another use for a store-bought product. Case in point is this Aldi shopper's 'game-changing' hack involving the German retailer's $59.99 laundry hamper.
When not in use, the hamper looks just like a regular white cabinet but hidden behind the doors is a pair of pull-out drawers for sorting laundry.
Aldi's 'game-changer'
One shopper, however, had other ideas for the hamper. As they explained in a post on Facebook, they removed the fabric bags from each drawer and replaced them with a pair of 27-litre rubbish bins from Bunnings.
And just like that, the shopper had transformed the hamper into a chic and functional storage solution for their unsightly rubbish and recycling bins.
They also shared a photo to show the drawer open with the bins in position and a second snap of the drawers closed.
"This laundry hamper has been a game-changer for rubbish and recycling," the happy customer wrote.

Aldi shopper sparks fierce debate with pantry photo: 'We need to talk'
"I bought this last year and used 2 x 27lt bins from Bunnings. The cloth inserts that came with it are now in bedrooms for dirty laundry. There’s no smell because most of my food scraps go in another bin," they added.
Those keen to replicate the hamper hack are in luck as the item is returning to Aldi as part of the Special Buys sale on Saturday, July 17.
And going by the comments on Facebook, there are more than a few Aldi fans looking to snap up the versatile buy.
"This is awesome!" one wrote, while another added, "Need this".
"So much neater," said a third.
One Facebook user was disappointed after spending over eight times the price of the hamper on their own rubbish bin storage solution.
"Damn the one I made cost me $500, should've just went to Aldi," they admitted.
Also on sale as part of Aldi's new Online Exclusive Special Buys is the Harbour 12kg Top Load Rear Control Washing Machine for $599.
Aldi kicked off its first foray into online shopping back in May with just two items, a mattress and a fridge, which were followed by an electric scooter a few weeks later.
