The adorable moment between Harry and Meghan everyone missed

During a walkabout on their Australian royal tour in Melbourne, the pair were holding hands which is pretty normal for them.

However, during one particular moment Harry reached back and covered Meghan’s hand with his free hand.

It was captured on video that was promptly shared on Instagram and dubbed “super PDA”.

“He takes it to the next level of hand-holding,” one person wrote.

“CAN HE GET ANY CUTER,” another said.

Body language experts also agree that the move is pretty sweet.

“It’s a protective hand-hold,” Lillian Glass, PhD, author of The Body Language Advantage, tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “He is more hands-on with her now that he knows she is pregnant.”

Body language expert Patti Wood, author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language & Charisma, tells Yahoo Lifestyle that there are a few things going on here.

“We don’t see constant hand-holding like this with other royal couples,” she says. “Even the fact that they hold hands is significant.”

The two also interlace their fingers, “which shows more closeness and a desire to merge with your partner,” Wood says.

“The double hand-hold is sweet, simple and says to Meghan, ‘I see you, you’re important to me, and we’re in this together,'” Terri Orbuch, PhD, author of 5 Simple Steps to Take Your Marriage From Good to Great, and a professor at Oakland University in Michigan, tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“Regular hand-holding may show affection and caring, but the double hand-holding says even more. It is small gesture but so meaningful.”

Harry’s double hand-hold is especially poignant from a body language standpoint because, to do it, “he has to make himself vulnerable,” Wood says.

“He chose instead to reach behind his back to hold her hand and make her feel safe. Usually men have their hands out to guard and use as protection.

“His choice was to to protect her. It’s especially sweet. It leaves the full front of his body exposed.”

Not only that, Harry’s left foot is pointed toward Meghan in the video. “That means she’s more important than anything else going on,” Wood says. “He’s aimed at and focused on her in this moment.” It all adds up to show that Harry “adores” his wife, Glass says. “He adores her so much that he always wants to be physically connected to her in one way or another, hence the backhand hold,” she says. “What we are seeing is true love body language at its best.”
