Loved-up Ada Nicodemou shows some leg on AACTAs red carpet
The red carpet has rolled out for Australia’s film and television’s big night, the AACTA Awards, and Home and Away darling Ada Nicodemou was certainly turning heads.
The 42-year-old actress, who started on the long-running soap almost two decades ago, was dressed to the nines in a custom, off-the-shoulder gown by Aussie dressmakers Velani, that featured a semi-sheer bust and a hip-high split that would’ve made traditional underwear very hard to wear.
The latter appeared to cause a moment of trouble as Ada made her way in front of the flashing cameras, and she was seen holding the fabric in place as she walked across the carpet at Sydney’s The Star.
Once in position - with the dress’ elaborate train splayed out to the side - she posed for photos with her millionaire boyfriend Adam Rigby, with the pair looking very loved-up.
Stars out in force
Also dressed in black for the Wednesday evening affair was Looking for Alibrandi star Pia Miranda, who was recently crowned the winner of this year’s Survivor, and actress Gracie Otto.
E! Australia host Ksenija Lukich added a touch of sparkle with a sequined jumpsuit and stilettos which she paired with red lipstick and Hollywood waves.
Meanwhile, former Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin opted for a white mini dress with a dramatic train, and Aussie actress Celia Massingham also went for white in a beaded crop top and matching skirt.
